Tulsa metro pipe band

pipeband

The Tulsa Metro Pipe Band is a group of dedicated pipers and drummers who love Scottish music and enjoy sharing it with fellow Tulsans and people further afield.

Our band was formed in 2012 by members of the former Anderson Pipe Band (we wear the Anderson tartan in honor of those roots). That year, we made our public debut at the Tulsa Scottish Games. We took 1st place in the band competition at that event!

Each year, we perform and compete across Tulsa, Northeast Ohio, Ohio City, Kansas, and Arkansas.

Weekly band practice

Our practices take place on Tuesday evenings in a safe, welcoming environment in South Tulsa. We encourage potential new members – including people who want to learn to play the pipes or drums – to attend a practice and get to know what a friendly, hard-working group we are.
