Censorship act ban lifted on certain books

    The Censorship of Publications Act 1967 provided for prohibition orders made on the grounds of indecency or obscenity to expire after a period of twelve years.

    A further prohibition order could then be made by the Censorship of Publications Board in respect of the same book.
